This Privacy Policy applies to both New Jersey Integrated Mental Health Conference (NJIMHC) website, www.njimhc.com (the “Site”), and its parent company Integrated Care Concepts and Consultation, LLC (ICCC) and any personal information obtained when you call, email, or otherwise communicate with NJIMHC. By accessing the Site or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to this Privacy Policy, how we use such information, and to whom and under what circumstances we may disclose it. We can modify this Privacy Policy at any time and will post the current version on the Site. We encourage you to periodically review our Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we are using the information we collect.

Privacy Policy

NJIMHC and ICCC are committed to protecting the privacy of the users of the NJIMHC Site. The information we collect is used to provide services to our clients and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations.

Information We Collect When You Visit The Site

As a visitor to this site, you are able to engage in many activities without providing personal information. NJIMHC does not require users to complete a registration form in order to browse our Site. You are only required to provide certain personal information to NJIMHC if you are purchasing a product or service from NJIMHC, registering on our site, subscribing to a newsletter, filling out a form, or are attempting to sponsor NJIMHC. NJIMHC does not sell or rent your information for commercial purposes.

We may collect this information and use it for marketing and communications purposes, internal review, research, and to improve the content of our Web page, but personally identifiable information is generally not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

For our internal purposes, we gather date, time, browser type, navigation history, and IP address of all visitors to our site. We use this information for our internal security audit log, trend analysis, and system administration, and to gather broad demographic information about our user base for aggregate use. 

Event Registration: If you register to participate in an NJIMHC event, Sponsorship Opportunity, Volunteer Opportunity, or promotion such as updated event information using online or paper registration forms, we collect and store your name, address, phone number, email address.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our NJIMHC and ICCC, new services, and other updates. Material Updates to this Privacy Notice

Requests: We collect information volunteered by users, including from surveys or requests via “Contact NJIMHC.” We also may collect email addresses of those who communicate with us via email.

Cookies

As part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, we use cookies and other online tracking technologies (such as pixel tags and web beacons) on our sites to store and sometimes track information about you too. Provide you with personalized content based on your use of our Site to enable you to more easily use our Site by remembering and using contact information to evaluate, monitor, and analyze the use of our site and its traffic patterns to help improve our Site and services to assist us with ad reporting functions such as to learn which ads are bringing users to our Site.

How We Use Them: For our internal purposes, we gather date, time, browser type, navigation history, and IP address of all visitors to our Site. Pixel Tags: We also employ a software technology known as a pixel tag or Web beacon. A pixel tag is a line of code that we place on our Sites or in emails that allows us to analyze our advertising and the general usage patterns of visitors to our Site. Pixel tags help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content or promotions are effective. Unless you consent, we do not collect personally identifiable information from you using pixel tags. You may not disable pixel tags.

Google Analytics: Our Site uses Google Analytics which is web analysis service offered by Google, Inc. to help NJIMHC analyze how users interact with our Site. You can learn more about these products from Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. NJIMHC also makes use of Google AdWords, another offering that uses cookies and remarketing technologies to deliver relevant information and advertisements to users who have previously visited NJIMHC Site. You may opt out of the use of such web analytic products by visiting Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on offered by Google (as of January 25, 2022). We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of our Site. We do not transfer personal information to Google Analytics. NJIMHC may retain the non-identifying information derived from our use of cookies, web beacons, Google Analytics, and other similar technologies for up to twenty-six (26) months.

Social Media Networking: Our Site permits you to use a third-party social networking platform such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This includes the use of social media plugins such as Facebook “Like”, Tweet, buttons, etc. When you use these social networking platforms and plugins, your username and password for the available service are collected from you on these services and may be shared with us. We also use the ShareThis plugin to allow you to easily share information from our Site on various social networking platforms, email, or text messages. You control when you share information from our Site using the ShareThis plugin. When you use social networking platforms and plugins, you share your information with them and their privacy policy applies to disclosure of that information. In addition, they may be able to collect information about you, including your activity, or may notify your connections on the social networking platform about your use of the Site. Such services may allow your activity to be monitored across multiple websites for purposes of delivering more targeted advertising. Please note that their privacy policies apply, and we encourage you to read them. We may add new social networking plugins and buttons to our Site from time to time.

Other Ways We May Disclose Your Information

We may also disclose information collected from and about you as follows: (1) to our related companies (NJIMHC and ICCC) and service providers, to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us; (2) to our marketing partners, advertisers or other third parties, who may contact you regarding the mission and opportunities with NJIMHC; (3) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation or of our rights or the rights of any third party; (4) to respond to legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order) and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and (5) in the event that our NJIMHC or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets. We may also disclose your personal information with your express consent.

Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our Site or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our Site’s Terms of Service

When NJIMHC includes links to other sites, NJIMHC does not assume any responsibility or liability for any communications or materials available at the websites to which it links, including responsibility or liability for their accuracy. No link on NJIMHC is a referral or endorsement of either the linked-to entity or any product or service. Third-party websites have separate and independent privacy policies. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Site and welcome any feedback about these websites.

Security Information

With respect to security: We endeavor to make sure that our Site and services provided by NJIMHC protect personal information that we receive are secure. When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our Site. However, no website or online transaction is completely and perfectly secure, and you should exercise care and judgment in ensuring that you follow good security practices, including accessing our Site through a secure device and internet connection.

All sensitive information provided by individuals to NJIMHC is considered confidential unless otherwise noted. Information is never sold or traded. If NJIMHC wishes to use any confidential information provided, the provider will be contacted, and a release form outlining its use will be provided. Individuals retain the right to request NJIMHC remove their information from all mailings, both online and on paper at any time, and NJIMHC will endeavor to remove the information in a reasonable manner, but delays between any such request and the discontinuation of related mailings can occur.

Your Options Concerning Personal Information

We provide all visitors to our Site with the ability to make certain requests regarding their personal information.  For example, you can request:

  • information regarding the categories and specific information we have collected about you;
  • correction of information we have about you that is incorrect; and
  • deletion of information we have collected about you.

The GDPR provides you with certain privacy rights, including the right to access correct or update your personal information. You may also request to have your information deleted, although we may retain information for backups, prevention of fraud and abuse, satisfaction of legal obligations, or other ongoing legitimate interests. You have the right to receive a copy of your information in a structured, machine-readable format. You may decline to share certain personal data, in which case we may not be able to provide you with some features and benefits.

If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  The data protection and other applicable laws of the United States or other countries may not be as comprehensive as those laws or regulations in your country or may otherwise differ from the data protection or consumer protection laws in your country. Your information may be available to government authorities under lawful orders and law applicable in such jurisdictions. By using the Site and/or providing personal information to us, you consent to the transfer of your information to our facilities as described in this Privacy Policy.

California Online Privacy Protection Act

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our Site to notify you of these changes and may provide you with the ability to opt-out of these new uses.
